Subtle gothic... that's the general vibe we're going for.

Don't worry we're not about to launch into some awfully prescriptive dress code — for those that do need more guidance than 'generally smart' though, check the FAQ — we're just setting the scene.

Obviously our wedding was going to be a bit gothic, it's us — we got engaged at Whitby goth weekend!

While we're on the topic of Whitby, the colour palette for this website (and the wedding itself) is drawn from a painting of Whitby Abbey by Liat's late mum Orly.
